“How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.”

About Me

Existence is stressful. Even though there's a lot of good in the world, being a human can be a lonely and confusing experience. Maybe there's a part of you that senses there is joy and connection to be had somehow, but you're not sure how to access it. Maybe you're wondering…can therapy help?

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade as an organic farmer. Without really knowing why, I sensed that I needed to do work that was close to the ground, to be near things that felt fundamental and foundational to life. I view therapy in much the same way: as a space to work with what is deep, and foundational, and real in you.

I strive to welcome you as a whole person, not a list of symptoms — and to work with a deep sense of curiosity about you, your experience, and the full human being that you are. My goal is not to provide you with all the answers, but to help create a sense of homecoming within you — and to help you make sense of what your mind and body are already telling you.

It is my belief that the body you inhabit is an intelligent system; it is not broken. It is conveying messages that can be accessed and listened to, if we allow the time and the space needed for it to unfold.

I believe that therapy, at its best, provides a person with permission to show up as their real, messy, honest self. Our work together can provide you with the room and the space to find yourself, and also to BE yourself — and to be deeply and meaningfully supported while you do that work.

  • I’m an eclectic, holistic therapist, and I pull from many different theories. However, I consider experiential therapy my main “toolbox” — that means I’m focusing on processing in the moment using parts work, art, somatic sensing, anything that will help us make contact with your subcortical brain to see how those more mysterious parts can help guide us.

I was originally trained as an existential therapist, which means I am also paying attention to how you are making sense of the world, and what your values are; and I will be wondering if our work can slowly shift a sense of alignment toward what you consider a deeply meaningful life.

  • I see adult and teen clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, who are working through trauma, or who are struggling to find meaning in their lives. Many of my clients are seeking out a space to put words to the many thoughts and feelings inside them that often go unsaid. Some of my clients have been diagnosed with ADHD, and others consider themselves neurodivergent. If you have any questions about whether or not you think we would be a good therapeutic fit, please find my contact information in the “Contact” section of this page.

  • $150 per hour for individual sessions.

I currently offer a sliding scale for folks who can’t afford my full fee.

I don’t accept insurance, but I can provide a superbill for potential insurance reimbursement.

Telehealth and in-person sessions currently available.
